Our Story

Welcome to Our Pixie Friends, where magic intertwines with resilience, and every page of our story is etched with compassion. I, Siobhan Wilson, am the storyteller behind this extraordinary journey.

My early days were marked by challenges, born prematurely at 27 weeks, weighing just 843 grams. From navigating open-heart surgery to grappling with difficulties in speech, balance issues, and more, my journey unfolded with countless hospital visits and a range of conditions, including anxiety, asthma, NVLD, and sensory processing disorder. Anaphylaxis struck thrice, underscoring life’s fragility, while eczema became a persistent companion.

At six, a dream emerged – to create a haven for children facing medical challenges. My vision was clear: raise one million dollars for medical research and place cuddly pixie characters in ambulances, offering comfort in moments of need. Triumph came early when, at six, I won the Tech Girls are Superheroes event competition, sowing seeds for Our Pixie Friends.

By ten, my dream became reality as I officially registered my companies. Now, at 14, I have published 3 children’s picture books to help children to cope with life’s challenges and through my book readings, pixie appearances and public speaking I have been able to impact the lives of over 4000 children, 1000 teenagers and 450 adults.
